Services

Individual Therapy

We offer one-on-one therapy sessions where clients meet privately with their therapist, either in-person at our office in Westminster or via telehealth. While the focus is on the relationship between therapist and client, there may be times when important people in a client's life may be invited to participate in a session along with the client.

For children in individual therapy, parents may participate in therapy sessions with their child, depending on the situation and goals. If parents are not regularly participating in sessions with their child, they will instead have regular, one-on-one meetings with the therapist without the child present.

Group Therapy

Group Therapy

CCT sometimes offers group therapy, where clients with some sort of similarity navigate the therapy process together, led by one or two mental health providers. The focus is on the relationships between group members, as well as the topic, interest, or issue being explored. Groups are highly effective for clients of many ages.

Parent Consultation

Parn Consultation

For parents who want guidance and support in parenting, but who prefer to be the agent of change themselves, parent consultation may be a good fit. In this model, the parent meets individually (or with their co-parent) with the therapist, and discuss the challenges they are facing as parents. This may include education and coaching for parents with children who have significant or complex emotional needs, as well as providing a supportive, non-judgmental place for parents to explore their own struggles in parenting, often rooted in their own history.
